Vote Kumu Hinaleimoana Wong for Oʻahu Trustee of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs

"Hawaiʻi is my mainland and as Kānaka ʻŌiwi face growing challenges related to housing, education, cultural preservation, and economic opportunity, OHA must continue to be a strong, trusted, and effective advocate for our people. I am committed to listening, bringing people together, and ensuring that Native Hawaiian values guide the decisions that shape our future."

Kumu Hinaleimoana Wong

Aloha e ke hoa, my name is Kumu Hinaleimoana Wong. I am a Native Hawaiian cultural practitioner, educator, award-winning filmmaker and haku mele, and community advocate.

For more than three decades, I have served our lāhui in many roles and spaces, dedicating my life to strengthening our communities through cultural education, leadership development, and meaningful engagement across Hawaiʻi and throughout the Moananuiākea.

Kūlana and kuleana have guided my life's work and my decision to submit my name as a candidate for Oʻahu Trustee of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs during our upcoming 2026 elections. With your support, I look forward to protecting our ʻāina and kaiāulu, ensuring that Hawaiʻi will remain our mainland for our future generations.
